The launch of YGG’s first game, LOL Land, in May was the result of five years of experimentation, learning, and community-building at the frontier of Web3. Designed for the previously untapped Casual Degen market, LOL Land distills everything YGG has learned about what makes games fun, sticky, and shareable, while lowering the barrier to entry for the next wave of onchain players. It also signals a bold new chapter as YGG expands into game publishing with YGG Play, staying true to the spirit that defined its earliest days: making Web3 more accessible, inclusive, and rewarding for everyone.
The following is a short summary of YGG’s updates from April to July. Get the full rundown here: YGG July 2025 Update

GAP Season 9 drew participation from 27,702 questers, led by instant classics and community favorites such as Vibes and Aurory: Seekers of Tokane. Questers also explored the newest Future of Work (FoW) partners, OORT and Ta-da, and took on guild quests together.
GAP Season 10 launched with high anticipation from the community, debuting Ragnarok Landverse and YGG’s first self-published game, LOL Land. They were joined by DeFi Kingdoms, Fishing Frenzy, Honeyland, Solforge Fusion, Sparkball, Splinterlands, and Wildcard. In total, GAP Season 10 attracted 76,841 questers, a 177% increase over Season 9.
Early in April, YGG announced its new role as a founding member of HumanAIx, an alliance launched by Future of Work (FoW) partner OORT that aims to bring more equity to global AI model training.
GAP Season 9 welcomed OORT and Ta-da into the YGG ecosystem, giving the community access to participate in decentralized data generation and verifiable cloud computing. Season 10 built on this with the addition of PublicAI, a protocol for decentralized data sourcing, validation, and application.
Another notable highlight was the active participation of Onchain Guilds in GAP Season 10’s guild quests. As of the end of July, 108 Onchain Guilds have been established, averaging 98 members each.

The release of LOL Land builds on YGG’s years of experience connecting top Web3 games with the most active Web3 player communities. Through game publishing, YGG expands its support for developers while catering to a highly engaged yet previously untapped segment of the market — the Casual Degen.
YGG’s debut title, LOL Land, launched on May 23, 2025, attracting over 25,000 players in its opening weekend. It has since maintained strong performance, recording over 631,000 monthly active users (MAU) and over 69,000 daily active users (DAU) in July, with an average spend of US$434 per paying player.
YGG Play signed its first third-party publishing deal in Q2, becoming the official publishing partner for GLHF’s onchain RPG Gigaverse. The partnership was marked by in-game activations across both LOL Land and Gigaverse. These included the launch of Gigaland, an exclusive Gigaverse-branded board in LOL Land, and limited-time Gigaverse skins based on YGG co-founders Gabby Dizon and Owl of Moistness.
Following the successful launch of LOL Land and subsequently paying back its initial investment, YGG completed a buyback of YGG tokens on Abstract. On July 31, a buyback transaction of 135 ETH was initiated, valued at US$518,000 at the time of purchase.
As of July 31, 2025, Yield Guild’s treasury was valued at US$38.0 million, with over US$7.7 million held in stablecoins, T-bills, and large-cap tokens. Yield Guild’s position has been strengthened since March thanks to a reduction in overall monthly burn and the launch of LOL Land, which generated significant revenue in USDC and ETH in May, June, and July.
