Following our recent announcement about the sunset of YGG Play, we wanted to share a more detailed guide covering important dates, what happens next, and any actions our community needs to take before the platform is retired.

First and foremost, thank you to everyone who played our games, completed quests, staked $YGG, participated in the Launchpad and community events, and helped make YGG Play what it became. We know many of you have questions about your accounts, balances, rewards, and favorite games, and we hope this guide provides clarity.

Important Dates

July 6 - We announced that YGG Play will sunset as YGG shifts its focus toward the next chapter of the company. July 9 - Beginning July 9, several YGG Play services will begin winding down

• Purchases in LOL Land and Waifu Sweeper will be disabled at 3:00PM SGT.
• All quests on YGG Play will be discontinued at 3:00PM SGT for all games
  
  • LOL Land and Waifu Sweeper
  • GIGACHADBAT and Ragnarok Breaker
  • Gigaverse, Roach Racing Club, Roots of Embervault, and Bank or Plank
• Game campaigns, leaderboards, and other in-game events will conclude for LOL Land and Waifu Sweeper.

July 31 - Final day of platform support

• YGG Play platform shuts down (yggplay.fun)
• YGG Play Launchpad shuts down (app.yggplay.fun)
• Community Questing shuts down (community.yggplay.fun)

August 1- Ragnarok Breaker & GIGACHADBAT transition

• GIGACHADBAT will officially continue operations under the Delabs team and will remain accessible on gigachadbat.fun
• Ragnarok Breaker will also continue operations under Planetarium labs and will remain accessible on ragnarokbreaker.fun
• Launch of new redemption flow for rewards for both games

What to do before July 31

‍

1. Unstake your $YGG

If you staked $YGG on YGG Play to earn Launchpad points, you must unstake your tokens before July 31. After platform support ends, YGG will no longer be able to provide support on staking-related issues. We strongly encourage everyone to unstake your $YGG well before the deadline rather than waiting until the last day.

2. Redeem $YGG with your in-game points

Players with point balances in LOL Land, Waifu Sweeper, and GIGACHADBAT should exchange their balances for $YGG rewards before July 31. 

While any remaining eligible balances will be snapshotted and the equivalent amount of $YGG will be sent directly to the wallet associated with your account after the deadline, we strongly recommend redeeming manually before July 31 to avoid any unexpected issues. Note that the snapshot on July 31 will be considered final.

What Happens Next?

‍

LOL Land and Waifu Sweeper will remain playable until July 31, but purchases will be disabled starting July 9. After July 31, both games will no longer be accessible. 

‍

Users should also unstake their $LOL directly in the game. Any remaining balances after July 31 will automatically be sent back to user wallets. It is advisable to unstake directly from the game before this date to avoid any issues.

GIGACHADBAT and Ragnarok Breaker will continue to be playable after July 31. Beginning August 1, GIGACHADBAT will continue under the Delabs team while Ragnarok Breaker will continue under Planetarium Labs. The YGG Play quest integration for these games will end on July 9, but in-game events and rewards will continue uninterrupted. A new redemption flow for exchanging in-game points to token rewards will be introduced after July 31.

The YGG Play platform, launchpad, and related socials will all be retired by July 31. The Community Questing website will also be retired by this date. All activities, support, and information on these platforms will also be discontinued after July 31, including quest activity and any unspent YGG points on the launchpad. Any achievements and rewards received by this date across these platforms are final, and any previously earned onchain achievements will remain with the associated user wallets.

• What happens if I forget to unstake my $YGG?
  
  • We highly encourage everyone to unstake before July 31. We will release another announcement on what happens to unclaimed $YGG after this date. Once platform support ends on July 31, YGG will no longer be able to address any tickets or concerns about the unstaking process.

• What happens if I don’t redeem my in-game balances?
  
  • Remaining eligible balances will be snapshotted and converted into the equivalent amount of $YGG, which will be sent directly to your associated wallet.
  • However, because platform support ends after July 31, we highly recommend redeeming before the deadline. The snapshot process will be final, and no further support or manual adjustments will be available afterward.

• Will GIGACHADBAT and Ragnarok Breaker still receive updates?
  
  • Yes. Both games will continue under their respective development teams. While YGG Play quests will end, gameplay, purchases, events, features, and future content will continue.

• Where can I get support if I have any issues with the platform or games?
  
  • Platform support will remain available until July 31. You can chat with our support team on yggplay.fun, or file a ticket in Discord for any specific concerns.

• Is the YGG Play Summit still going ahead?
  
  • No, the 2026 YGG Play Summit has been canceled.
