In Q3, YGG Play launched LOL Lounge, a podcast where guests explore the full stack of Web3 game development, from game design and tokenomics to user acquisition, monetization, community growth, and more.
In the four episodes published since August, the podcast featured Igloo Inc. CEO Luca Netz, Delabs Games co-founder James Joonmo Kwon, Igloo APAC CEO Aaron Teng and President Cheryl Law, Gigaverse co-founder Dith, and Abstract Head of Ecosystem Mason. Topics ranged from how Web3 game publishing works as a business to the importance of establishing a strong regional presence and the industry’s current revenue meta.
The Guild Advancement Program (GAP) concluded in Q3 with record-high participation after three successful years and 10 seasons of driving Web3 game discovery. In this final season, YGG Play’s flagship title LOL Land, newly launched at the time, drew 76,841 questers — surpassing the combined total of the previous nine seasons.
YGG has since upgraded its questing system with two new platforms, Community Questing and the YGG Play Launchpad, evolving its pioneering formula to achieve broader reach and scale.
Building out the Casual Degen category as the new Web3 gaming meta, YGG Play signed Gigaverse, GIGACHADBAT, and Proof of Play Arcade as publishing partners. YGG Play supports its partners through its smart contract-enforceable revenue-sharing model, growth marketing, community engagement, and player acquisition via cross-IP collaboration and YGG Play Launchpad integration.
As of September 2025, Yield Guild’s treasury was valued at US$35.5 million, with over US$6.5 million held in stablecoins, T-bills, and large-cap tokens. Thanks to robust revenue from USDC and ETH across YGG Play’s roster of games, YGG has maintained its strong position with enough runway to last well into 2027.
YGG also engaged in a series of token buybacks in Q3. Over the quarter, Yield Guild Games purchased over US$2.5 million in YGG tokens on the open market as a show of appreciation and support to their community. As of September 30, 2025, these buybacks account for 15.2M $YGG tokens, or 2.44% of the total supply in circulation.
