YGG Buys Back $1M of $YGG Using LOL Land Revenue

To mark the sustained growth and success of YGG’s publishing arm, YGG Play, and its first title, LOL Land, the decision was made to use a portion of the revenue generated to purchase US$1 million worth of $YGG on the open market. 

The $1 million USDT buyback transaction was initiated on Friday, August 22, when YGG transferred funds from the LOL Land gaming wallet to Binance to acquire $YGG tokens on the open market.

The purchase of YGG tokens was done via the public market at an average rate of US$0.1703. The 5.873 million newly acquired YGG tokens were then transferred back to YGG and have been secured in a fresh Ethereum multi-sig controlled by the YGG Treasury. The fresh wallet was created as the tokens from this buyback will be segregated from the main treasury and remain off-market indefinitely.

This most recent transaction follows YGG’s initial US$518k token buyback on July 31, 2025. In total, YGG has used over US$1.5 million in proceeds from the YGG Play publishing business to purchase 8.918 million $YGG tokens at an average price of US$0.1702 on the open market. Going forward, profits earned from LOL Land and the YGG Play business unit will be used in various ways to benefit the entire YGG ecosystem.
